Our Spit Pigs typically have a dressed weight ranging from ~20kg to ~30kg.

*Please note that after butchering and the natural shrinkage that occurs during the hanging process, the final packaged weight may be slightly lower. This process enhances the tenderness and flavor of the Pork, ensuring the highest quality product for your table.

To secure your order, we require a deposit of $150. This ensures your product is reserved and allows us to prepare your premium-quality beef with care. The deposit will be deducted from your final balance after processing.

After processing, we’ll calculate the difference between the dressed weight of your order and your initial deposit. A detailed invoice outlining the remaining balance will be sent to your provided email address. This ensures transparency and accuracy in every transaction

We recommend picking up your fresh Tweed Valley Pork from our trusted local butcher in Murwillumbah to ensure the highest quality and freshness (address provided upon order). 

However, if picking up isn’t convenient, we’re happy to arrange delivery (within reason) straight to your door for a fee. Whether you collect it yourself or opt for delivery, you can trust that your order will arrive in peak condition, ready for your table.

Whole pig will be available at butcher ready for pick up at your earliest convenience.

Determining the Size

A whole dressed spit pig will usually yield around 60% of it's weight in cooked pork. Depending on the appetite of your guests you could be serving pork between 200g per kid and up to 400g per adult.

So, for example, a pig of 25kg will yield around 15kg of cooked pork. If on average everyone eats 400g of pork then you could feed up to 35 people.

Just make sure you do have enough to go round and some for the day after!

Keeping it Sensible ~20kg dressed – Perfect for smaller, more personal events. Around 25-35 people.

Turning into Something ~25kg dressed – Great for family-sized gatherings or slightly larger parties. Around 35- 45people

Grand Gathering ~30kg dressed– For a full spit pig, designed to cater to larger events or major celebrations. 45- 65
